What I enjoy most about working with Specialty 1 Partners is the feeling of being supported and having so many resources available to me all in one place. If I have a legal question or a compliance question, with one email to the correct department, I can get the answers I need and I know that it will be accurate information. Being an office manager requires us to fill in so many positions and, of course, we are supposed to know everything, so, having the backing that SP1 provides, we really can know almost everything. I also haven't found a person that isn't willing to help even if I have emailed the wrong person, everyone is so kind and will just say, "I am going to loop in so and so as I think they will be able to better assist you".

I have been with Specialty 1 Partners for 6 months and within this time frame, I have been exposed to a lot of financial information, performance metrics, and leadership coaching, that I have never before received in any company I had worked for previously. I strongly feel supported and given the tools I need to succeed in my role . I have worked for small offices and have also worked in big corporations, and this is unlike any company I have worked for. The timeliness of responses and the number of times the management checks in on you makes you feel that you are part of one big team! I love working with my doctor. She is very hard-working and the support she has received from Specialty1 is amazing. Specialty1 helped her build and extend her practice and also helped her establish in a neighboring community and was with her every step of the way. The dedication to excellence and passion for what we do at Specialty 1 Partners is truly inspiring, and I'm grateful to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

What types of roles are practice support?

Non-clinical dental office roles are essential for the smooth operation of a dental practice, focusing on administrative, managerial, and support functions rather than direct patient care. These roles include:

  • Office Manager: Oversees the daily operations of the dental office, manages staff, handles budgeting and financial planning, and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Receptionist: Greets patients, schedules appointments, manages phone calls, and handles patient records and administrative tasks.
  • Insurance Coordinator: Manages patient insurance claims, verifies insurance coverage, and ensures that the practice receives payment for services provided.
  • Billing Specialist: Handles patient billing, processes payments, and manages accounts receivable.
  • Marketing Coordinator: Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones, manages social media, and organizes promotional events.
  • Patient Coordinator: Acts as a liaison between the dentist and the patient, helping with treatment planning, patient education, and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Financial Coordinator: Assists patients with financial arrangements, including payment plans, financing options, and explaining treatment costs.

These roles are crucial for ensuring that the dental practice runs efficiently, providing support to both clinical staff and patients.
